About

My name is Dan Masters and I am a Micro Airplane and Helicopter enthusiast.

This site is my quest to get to know as many RC Micro Airplanes and Helicopters as possible and share my experience with you.

My Hangar

Harbor Freight Yellow BeeHarbor Freight Yellow Bee

This airplane was my first and still holds a special place in my heart. It is a prone to wing breaks where the engines are located but for the price it is well worth it.

Hobbyzone Super Cub Hobbyzone Super Cub

After the breaking 2 Yellow Bees I decided to get serious and do some real flying. The Super Cub delivered! This baby can do loops and other stunts and is a great beginner air craft.

Air Hogs Havoc Heli

Air Hogs Havoc HeliMy first RC Helicopter. This heli is so easy to fly that my 3 year old son fly’s it with ease. It takes a little tweaking to get it trimmed properly but once you do you will be buzzing your kid’s heads in no time!

Air Hogs Aero Ace - GreenAir Hogs Aero Ace – Green

I picked this little micro airplane up while wander the aisles of Walmart as I often do. It was on clearance so I decided to try it out and boy am I glad. This little guy flies really easy out in front of my house. I often wonder where I would be if I had start with an Aero Ace instead of the Yellow Bee…

Air Hogs Laser Havoc Heli Laser Battle Air Hogs Laser Havoc Heli Laser Battle

The success of the original Havoc Heli brought about the creation of a 2 Havoc Heli’s package together and equipped with infrared lasers in order to shoot each other down. This accompanied with machine gun sounds make for a lot of fun.

mini-hughes-bell-300 Mini Bell Hughes 300 – The Little Dragonfly

This is a really fun little heli that you can pick up for cheap. It is smaller then the original Havoc Heli but is even more maneuverable. It is made entirely out of plastic as opposed to foam like the Havoc. I got this one on a “C” channel so I can actually let someone fly it while doing laser battle at the same time!
